i AM A TEAcher…

  • I have an holistic approach to teaching which means I incorporate improvisation, composing, transposition and reading in pupil-centred lessons to suit you
  • I have taught all ages from children to adults
  • As a pupil, you will be encouraged to play with imagination and sensitivity, not just ‘read the notes’
  • If you prefer, you can learn by ear, without the reading.

“Ann has been an excellent piano teacher, working closely to understand my daughters learning style and tune into her personally and intuitively. Poppy looks forward to her piano time with Ann and has acquired a musicianship which reflects Anns dedication and positivity with her students. I would recommend her expert tutelage to anyone and feel glad my daughter has been able to learn alongside her.”

Lisa – Mum to Poppy.
